Eclipse is the IDE of my choice, mainly through the countless plugins that integrate seamlessly into the IDE. What I was missing until now was a plugin that I was able to access LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server.
The plug-ins from Studio Apache DS close this gap. Thus, among other things:
- an LDAP Browser
- an LDIF Editor
- an ACI Editor Plugin for Apache Directory Server
- a schema editor
- an Apache DS Configuration Plugin
included in the plugin. The installation is the easiest to use the Update URL: http://directory.apache.org/studio/update/1.x .
Apache DS studio subject to the "Apache Software License Version 2.0" and can therefore be used freely in commercial projects. And who does not even call his own LDAP server, which can be equal to the occasion at the Apache Directory Server View.
