Sometimes it's the little things in life that disturb one. After the switch to itunes 9 was at once the beautiful three-column view (genre, artist, album) has been replaced for the selection of music by a single column, which appeared only in the interpreter. This is also located on the left, so you must scroll horizontally (and nothing bothers me more than horizontal scrolling).
Now, I might, of course, can rumtreiben in the menus. However, if I had taken since the gap Browser true, I do not know but Google did it too. The good old view is one of the menu item Anzeige > Spaltenbrowser > oben restore.

Thanks for the tip! I never thought that my Google search for "itunes nine old view" leads immediately at the first attempt at a useful result.
Actually, I was so happy with my iTunes 6, but for Christmas I had allowed myself an iPod nano, and is willing unfortunately with any older version to work together.
The menus I had already thinned out, but I had overlooked this point well.
