Every beginning is hard. To learn HTML and CSS can be either course or even bite themselves. The self is today but not as difficult as before. Where one a few years ago only selfhtml (which I also have started) as an online source had available, selection is now many times larger. So today the most difficult task is to separate the chaff from the wheat.

Besides selfhtml, I can fully recommend continued, now with Little Boxes, Part 1, a further Bestsellers Book online. Under littleboxes.de is current edition of the book by Peter M. Muller ready to.
It explains in addition to the HTML and CSS fundamentals and advanced CSS design techniques, such as positioning and multi-column layouts. Thus, in another discipline and advanced to increase their knowledge, especially since all the sample files for download have been provided. A separate section for useful tools round off the book.

That the provision of books on the Internet and the sale of the print edition also works in parallel, shows the latest Open Book initiative of the Galileo Verlag.

Whom thus the online offer of Little Boxes should like to lie down, and the book under the pillow. :-)
