wpseek

Templates for WordPress , there are a dime more. Who wants to build his own, usually begins not on the green lawn, but fits into an existing template to your own wishes. The functions required functions are provided by WordPress.

If you are looking for a specific function, can be seen in the Funktioinsreferenz look or wpseek.com simply search for it.

Actually, as a Firefox plugin planned wpseek provides:

  • Auto-Suggest, which draws its content from around the function name.
  • Related Codex Documentation
  • Code Excerpts
  • Top Google Search Results
  • Nutzerduskussionen
  • User Comments
  • AJAX-based results page, does not reload with every operation necessary

Wpseek.com can be added to the browser as a search engine.
So you prepare properly for the adaptation of their own WordPress based blog.

Sounds simple, but it is not. Anyone who wants to persuade should the online game 99 Bricks must-see.

The web standard blog I have a good test of the load times for the most popular JavaScript frameworks (MooTools 1.2, jQuery 1.2.6, 1.6.0.2 Prototype, YUI 2.5.2b,
Dojo 1.1.1) found in the latest versions of the 4 major browsers Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera.

Here, the IE7 in all frameworks is the slowest (via its standard compliance I will leave out at this point not only). Safari and Opera each win two tests and the Firefox is the fastest in the Yahoo UI framework.

Conclusion: There is no current browsers with the slow loading of pages that have been implemented with JavaScript frameworks, as IE7. On the other hand, shows the operators that can be a fast browser austestattet and slender, with many features.

My favorite browser Opera has been released in version 9.5. What is striking about the first of the new default skin. But under the hood, a lot has happened. So it is back for a new integrated email client imap, for the course of a full text search and a synchronization for bookmarks - possibility.
My subjective feeling that the "fastest browser in the world" has become even more quickly confirmed the speed improvements made. For more speed also makes the new JavaScript engine, which in addition also the ECMAScript 4 - supports standard, as well as getter and setter methods. CSS3 is also now fully supported.
The changes to the IMAP backend, makes a conversion of the mails need to be initiated after the installation. After conversion, the mail is no longer one of Opera <= 9.2 can be read. The conversion itself is however rasent quickly. My 50 000 mail (I just throw away anything) was converted within 2 minutes.

Conclusion: Due to the even better performance and improved JavaScript support, I can each only guess about the new version. For Linux and Mac platform-specific skins are the way to become better integrated into the operating system. So for Linux supports the Qt graphics platform for Mac users there is an ActionScript support.

So now who do not change is your own fault :-)

Martin has just completed a blog parade started about Web browser. As I leave out any opportunity to pay homage to my favorite browser Opera, I'll do it at this point. Here are my answers to his questions.

First What browser are you using?
Opera as a browser, Opera as a mail client, news reader and Opera as Opera as Bittorrent client. And if not Opera, then Firefox. Because everything is better than Internet Explorer.

Second Your Home?
I start with a blank page.

Third Do you have toolbars installed?
no

4th What add-ons are installed and active?
Add-ons I have for Firefox. Since it is the Web Developer, Firebug and Selenium for Web development.

5th Do you use the default theme?
Only for Firefox (iFox), the Opera is nice enough :-)

6th Place shortly before any extension that will appear most useful and important!
For Opera, I do not need extensions. He is the "fastest browser in the world", is completely controlled via the keyboard (of course, but also to mouse gestures) and the tab browsing is the best around and that under any operating system. I do not need to work everyday.
The add-ons for Firefox, I've listed above and they are really very useful for web development.
